We’ve sat in your seat. We’ve hired, mis-hired and rebuilt teams — and we’ve paid for the wrong hire ourselves. So we know, first-hand, what a founder needs from a hire and what the wrong one costs.
The traditional agency model frustrated us: keyword searches, floods of irrelevant CVs, and recruiters who’d never carried a number or shipped a product telling founders who to hire. We built Proper Round to do the opposite — start with your business problem, vet for startup fit, and only send people we’d be happy to hire ourselves.
